Dear everybody:
I’ve just returned from a holiday to the island of Oahu, a sort of pre-honeymoon affair. We climbed on mountains, we walked in the waves, and we visited the world’s best dockside tiki bar, where regulars of all ages warbled out standards at a piano manned by a sweet, tiny, incredibly ribald old man. Joe brought his medium-format camera to the beach and interviewed eccentric kite surfers, taking their portraits. I read six books. We slept late, got lost, and forgot about clocks.
It was wonderful.
Would you like to see some photographs? I’m posting them all here.
